A bit about me:

Who was I before Real Estate:

Before I was a realtor I was a naval officer and a real estate enthusiast. I was reading books about real estate in college and during my time in the navy. My only career plan was to retire from the navy and build up a rental portfolio for when I retired. When I had my daughter, everything changed and the idea of leaving her regularly for 6-18 months wasn’t something I wanted to do. I got out and had side gigs while I did the stay at home mom gig for 8 years! My spouse wasn’t interested in investing in Real Estate and giving up my career put the idea of real estate on the very back burner. When my marriage ended, I was all of a sudden a single mom of 2 with no income. We moved to Nashville and I soon realized my side gigs weren’t cutting it. I tried a few things, before I finally made it to Real Estate! First with an investment property and then as a realtor! I love almost everything about Real Estate! The only thing I’d change, is I would have started investing and being a realtor right when I decided to be a stay at home mom!
